St. Gabriel’s and our sister church across town, St. Francis, were delighted to announce the call of our shared Rector, the Reverend Toni Belhu, in July 2021. Toni accepted our call following unanimous votes from both Vestries. Toni recently graduated from the Seminary of the Southwest in Austin, Texas, receiving a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in LatinX Ministry.

 

Prior to attending seminary, Toni

had a 22-year career working primarily in human resources and talent development in private industry. Toni is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served almost ten years as both an enlisted soldier and military officer. She is a widow and has three adult sons who live in Washington and Tennessee.
